It’s the first day of Spring and I’m ready to start planting! (Mentally ready, that is. Our flowerbeds are another story.)

1: Chalkboard Herb Marker, Crate and Barrel, $3.99
This would be so cute to label indoor plants. I suppose if you wanted to use it outdoors you’d have to be sure to keep it out of the rain.

2: Fairytale Garden Sets, Uncommon Goods, $12.00
These are a-dorable! Choose from Cinderella’s Magic Pumpkin, Jack’s Magic Beans or the Princess’ Pea.

3: Tomato Garden In A Bag, Uncommon Goods, $12.00
Includes everything you need to grow miniature extra-sweet tomatoes, right out of the bag.

4: Watering Can, IKEA, $1.99
Available in several different colors, and a steal at $1.99. Too bad you have to drive to IKEA to get them.

5: EasyBloom Plant Sensor, Amazon/Home Depot, $59.95
Wow. Now here’s something I could use (if it really works as well as they say). The sensor measures sunlight, humidity, etc. and gives recommendations of the best plants for that spot. If you already have a plant there, it can tell you what you’re doing right and wrong. Connects to your PC or Mac via USB.
